CR1 Central Division U14 Junior Championship Selections

First and second year U14's can qualify to participate in the Central Division U14 Jr. Championships.

Qualifying rankings for CR1 quota to the Hosking Championship will be based on high point World Cup scoring (Planet Cup Scoring). The number of races used to determine qualifying rankings will be based on one more than half of the total races held prior to February 22, 2021 (rounded down if not a whole number – eg 4 of 7, 5 of 9, 6 of 11, etc.).  

Ties will be broken only if necessary to determine qualifying and will be broken by the athletes single best race point value. If ties still remain that need to be broken their 2nd best race point result will be used, and so on until the tie has been broken.

In the event that not enough athletes have scored Planet Cup points to fill the CR1 quota, the remaining athletes will be ranked by their single best race point result. If ties still remain that need to be broken their 2nd best race point result will be used, and so on until the tie has been broken. 

Discretionary selections will be available if needed. Athletes seeking a discretionary selection will need to have their Program Director to the CR1 non-scored chair by 11:59pm on 2/26/2021

*this selection process will be used if more athletes intent for the competition than R1 has quotas allocated.
