If you are new to Lunar Cup and have not been to a USSA race before, race day can seem a bit overwhelming. Don't worry, we are here to help.
Prior to race day, make sure you have coordinated with your coach and know what their expectations are. If you will not have a coach present on race day, please reach out to Caryn Jones email@example.com to find a coach to coordinate with.
Race Notices will be posted here: http://www.skifast.com/racenotices approximately one week prior to the race. This will give you details of the schedule and information such as lift ticket prices.
When you arrive at the hill, approximately 7:30am, you should swing by the race office and check the start list to make sure your athlete is on it and grab your bib that you will use for the day. You can also pick-up a race schedule for the day. The schedule will also have instructions on receiving text messages to follow the days activities and schedule changes.
During the race, make sure your athlete is up at the start at least 20 minutes before they run. Your coach should coordinate with you on pre-race expectations.
If you are interested in getting more involved, we are always looking for volunteers. Visit our DIBS site to find a job that interests you. There are plenty of jobs that require no prior experience.
